team profiles: gail fiteny (bs comm, ma intercultural relations)

Gail works in a number of areas of ratio including research, writing and competency standard development. She helped to develop the Pathways website and currently maintains our databases, contact lists, and marketing related activities.

Gail developed the Public Relations competency standards for TAFE NSW and the Mortgage Broking and Public Trustee competency standards for the Finance Industry Training and Advisory Body (ITAB).

Gail was involved in the development of the book, Six Degrees of Innovation and designed the innovation audits, surveys and evaluations we use in our Innovation Works™ training program. She also analysed and reported on the evaluation of the innovation training materials to the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).

She also developed case study profiles of best practice organisations in productive diversity for the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA).

Gail earned her Masters degree in the United States, focusing on communication, international education, and cross-cultural/diversity training methods. She worked for the Division of International Programs within Boston University for six years in a variety of roles. Gail was also responsible for developing and nurturing cooperative relationships with Australian corporations and organisations to develop international internship programs.
